Frederick M. Barth is a partner, stockholder, and Executive Vice President of Pentad Properties, Inc., which is a founding member of Chain Links Retail Advisors.

Barth joined Pentad Properties, Inc., in 1989 and formerly served as its President and Principal Broker. He has served on numerous national restaurant and investment advisory boards. Prior to Pentad, Barth was the senior retail-leasing broker with Wallace Associates, Inc., initiating his career with that firm in 1984.

Barth specializes in retail real estate transactions including investment sales and acquisitions of shopping centers and single NNN projects, land, ground-up development, entitlement work as well as tenant and landlord representation. Throughout his 25-year career, Barth has developed many long-term relationships with institutional, national, regional, and local clients. Barth has received numerous “Broker of the Year” awards from his national clients. Barth has assisted a number of local tenants expand into the national market.

Some of the clients that Barth has represented include: Sunflower Farmer’s Market, Del Taco, Inc., Boston Market, Extended Stay America, Einstein Noah Corp., Jack in the Box, Golf Galaxy, Aveda, Saturn/GM, Sprint PCS, Video Update, Mikasa, Archiver’s, Gander Mountain and Carpet Max among others.

Although Barth has focused his work in the Utah market, he also has expertise in the surrounding Western States. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers since 1984.
